Please plan a visit to our showroom, tucked away on the quiet intersection of Hoyt and Degraw Streets in the Gowanus/Carroll Gardens neighborhood in Brooklyn.  We are only a few blocks from the Carroll Gardens Historic District, and directly across the street from rear facade of the breathtaking Saint Agnes Church on Sackett and Hoyt Streets.  Our shop is one fully dedicated to music where in addition to guitars, one will find several pianos--acoustic grands and uprights, Yamaha digitals, and vintage electric Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzers.

A few answers to some frequently asked questions below might save your time before filling out the contact form. Other inquiries, please email.

•It is very difficult to give an exact price for any issues based upon description alone. This includes issues with electronics, cracks, bridge lift, fret issues, and general playability. In most cases, a basic set-up will fix buzzing, intonation, and excessively high or low action problems. Bring in the guitar and we’ll have a look.

•Full set-ups generally cost between $100 and $120 (plus tax), including a new set of strings. We will let you know prior to proceeding if a job is more complicated.

•For most guitars, you can save $5 if you provide your own strings.

•We have a minimum bench charge of $45 (plus tax) for any repair. This is also the price of a simple re-string of most guitars; classical guitar re-strings are $50.

•A guitar can be dropped off anytime during business hours; you do not need an appointment. Our guitar technicians don’t keep exact hours but you can always drop off and we can contact you as necessary. Often times we will have a guitar tech in on the weekend as well, but can’t guarantee this.

•Occasionally we can offer a simple repair or restring while you wait but we generally don’t work this way. We take our time to do each job correctly and to the best of our ability, so if a rush-job is needed we may not be the best place for you.
